The Silva Essentials Class was developed by Advanced Training Resources to
provide an overview of the Silva Method. However, it is more than
"just" an overview - it is an independent class that provides
practical skills in the controlled use of one's mind.
It combines elements of the Silva Relaxation Seminar (primarily the first few hours of the Basic Lecture Series) with current findings in the field of quantum physics for a more thorough examination of what it is that makes this style of meditation so effective and useful. Silva Essentials will be particularly useful to anyone considering taking the Basic Lecture Series or the UltraMind courses at some future date. In fact, the class fee is deductible from the Basic Lecture Series or UltraMind course presented by Advanced Training Resources. Silva Essentials is designed to provide the student with an understanding of How and Why the various Silva Method techniques work so well for enabling positive change in one's life experience - at any level they choose to focus on - Body, Mind, or Spirit. We will cover the Silva Method's history of development by Jose Silva and examine why he choose to offer it as a Public Class in 1966. We will examine how it became the premier training program of "mind development" skills and why it has spawned so many imitations and spin-offs. We will explore both the psychology, as well as the metaphysics, of using one's mind in more efficient ways. We will look at the relationship of the Silva Method with such concepts as offered in the movie "The Secret", as well as concepts offered by the science of Quantum Physics. And, we will provide specific training to enable the student to enter a meditative level of mind - with full consciousness and awareness - for the purposes of reducing stress, increasing focus, and expanding awareness.
