Workshop Overview

     Silva Essentials is a 4 hour workshop that will provide an introduction to the history, development, and use of Jose Silva's Method of Mind Development training for the controlled use of one's own Mind.  Using our inner resources in more efficient ways leads to startling improvements in our outer reality. 

     The workshop will provide practical training in the use of the Silva Method of dynamic meditation for a fully conscious and intentional access to the Alpha Level of Mind.  This is accomplished with simple and fun exercises in visualization and imagination.

     The participant will learn simple techniques for controlling  their own thoughts and mental processes for the purpose of entering deeper levels of Mind (lower brain wave frequencies), and to use those levels of Mind with full awareness and intent for any positive purpose that they may choose.

     The participant will understand how to use this state of increased focus and expanded awareness for personal development, goal attainment, business success, stress management, health improvement, and intuition enhancement.  And that's just the beginning...

     The Silva Essentials Class was developed by Advanced Training Resources to provide an overview and introduction to the Silva Method.  However, it is more than "just" an overview - it is an independent class that provides practical skills in the controlled use of ones mind.  

     It combines elements of the Silva Method Basic Lecture Series with current findings in the field of quantum physics for a more thorough examination of what it is that makes this style of meditation so effective and useful.

     Silva Essentials is designed to provide the student with an understanding of How and Why the various Silva Method techniques work so well for enabling positive change in one's life experience - at any level they choose to focus on - in Body, Mind, or Spirit.  

     We will cover the Silva Method's history of development by Jose Silva and examine why he choose to offer it as a Public Class in 1966.  

     We will examine how it became the premier training program of "mind development" skills and why it has spawned so many imitations and spin-offs. 

     We will explore both the psychology and physiology of using one's mind in more efficient ways. 

     We will look at the relationship of the Silva Method with such concepts as offered in the movie "The Secret", as well as concepts offered by Quantum Physics, and show the bridge between ancient wisdom and modern science.
